Job title: Procurement Group Leader Location: Samlesbury – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: £54,793 (Depending on skills and experience) Referral Bonus: £1000 Grade: F What you’ll be doing: Managing a team of buyers, including competencies, development, training and reporting requirements Leading all orderbook activities for a range of suppliers including on time order placement, enablement, on time delivery and on time invoice payments within the framework of Business Governance, Compliance and Best Practise Interfacing across the Air business and with other teams and functions, e.g. PM, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Finance Managing supplier relationships and being the primary interface for Orderbook and Performance issuesescalations Leading and supporting Performance Business Reviews with Suppliers at weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual intervals Travel to suppliers’ premises as and when required Your skills and experiences: Essential: Extensive Procurement experience, preferably in an aerospace or manufacturing market A proven ability to collaborate, fostering close & trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders and having excellent verbal and written communication skills (all levels) A Continuous Improvement mind-set with proven examples of identifying new ideas that drive improvement, problem solving and working collaboratively with others to identify a solution ideally within a Procurement (or similar) environment Supply Chain orderbook management experience, including detailed understanding and experience of supplier risk and opportunity management Working understanding of tool sets and IT such as ERP systems, Microsoft Office programs and Tableau dashboarding Ability to compile data, analyse and propose recommendations through reports and presentations Previous experience of managing strategic Supplier relationships and of managing a small team Desirable: You will have, or be working towards MCIPS OR have a similar professional qualification OR hold a degree in a business related subject (e.g. Economics, Business, Finance) Strong and proven Operational Delivery of complex orderbooks Experience of LCM plans and programmes.
