The Marketing Ops Specialist will have expertise in marketing automation, customer journey design, and experience working with marketing automation software, with a preference for Microsoft Dynamics, and Optimizely. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives, optimizing marketing workflows, and driving customer engagement through comprehensive customer journeys. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Marketing tech stack expert: Maximizes the existing marketing technologies and platforms to build a global demand gen engine for the Ostomy care business unit. • Proactively researches new technologies, approaches and best practices both within and outside of Convatec to automate and improve performance marketing outcomes. • Develop Marketing Automation Programs: Build and execute sophisticated marketing automation programs that streamline our processes, enhance our outreach, and drive engagement and conversions. • Lead Template and Asset Development: Lead strategy and build an extensive set of templates for all Facet landing pages and nurture communications, ensuring efficiency, personalization, and alignment with channel-specific best practices. • Execute Campaigns: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan, execute, and measure the performance of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, SMS, social media, digital advertising, and outbound dials. • Monitor Performance Tracking: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the success of marketing campaigns and customer journeys. Provide regular reports and recommendations for improvement. • Optimize Processes: Continuously evaluate and improve marketing operations processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness for the handoff from the global to regional marketing teams. • Build and execute an ongoing experimentation roadmap to maximize engagement and conversion rate optimization (CRO) across all templates. • Integrate MarTech Tools: Collaborate with the Website team to identify, prioritize, and integrate best-performing MarTech tools to support full-funnel, cross-channel growth marketing performance. QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: • Bachelors degree. • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing operations, with a strong focus on marketing automation, customer journey design, and campaign management • Agile marketing experience is highly desirable. • Experience working with Optimizely and Microsoft marketing platforms will be valuable. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: • Technical Skills: Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Optimizely, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner • Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail & strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: • The position may involve travel up to 15% of the time, mostly within North America and Europe but overseas travel is expected. Most trips will include overnight travel WORKING CONDITIONS: • Hybrid working –2 to 3 days per week in the office driven by business requirements as Convatec has a flexible approach to office working. • Preference for proximity to London or Lexington, MA offices.
