As a Senior Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality print and digital educational resources from concept to publication. Leading a talented sub-team of project managers, you will:
1. Drive the planning and execution of product development, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality targets are met.
2. Collaborate across stakeholders and project teams, presenting robust delivery plans to senior leadership.
3. Manage risks, oversee change processes, and lead communication strategies to keep projects aligned with strategic objectives.
4. Guide the production phase, working closely with authors, suppliers, and endorsing bodies to meet stringent standards.
5. Champion continuous improvement by reviewing workflows and implementing lessons learned.
You bring a wealth of experience in project and team management, coupled with a passion for delivering impactful educational solutions:
1. Proven expertise in project planning, risk management, change management, and supplier negotiation.
2. Exceptional communication and facilitation skills and an ability to motivate teams through complex projects.
3. A collaborative mindset, adept at uniting diverse stakeholders to achieve common goals.
4. Familiarity with publishing processes and digital asset management, such as ePub, audio, and video.
5. A track record of delivering within deadlines and budgets, with a keen eye for detail.
6. Formal project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile) are a plus but not essential.
7. Proven line management experience, including the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team effectively.
