Car Bodyshop Manager
Car Bodyshop Manager / Accident Repair Centre Manager ideally with Snr Estimator / VDA skills for Prestige Bodyshop Vehicle Damage Assessor.
Our client, part of the Sandown Coachworks Group, is one of the South East's leading prestige accident repair groups. Their longest standing site is in Shepperton TW17 (SOUTHWEST LONDON), in addition to their three other Surrey-based sites.
They are currently actively recruiting for an experienced Bodyshop Manager / Accident Repair Centre Manager ideally with VDA / Snr Estimator skills (to oversee Estimators) due to expansion at their new 16,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility in Shepperton. The site is already BS10125 compliant with structural aluminium and 13 Manufacturer approvals.
The role will involve Bodyshop Management and managing work through the workshop, overseeing efficiencies, overseeing VDA’s Estimates both Insurance and Private on Audatex, pushing up and selling services, discussing repairs with customers/engineers, quality control, updating online systems for insurance companies, updating work providers on the progress of repairs via phone, adding images to EMACS and Audatex, ensuring all SLAs are met, dealing with supplementary estimates with engineers and VDA’s, and dealing with engineer phone enquiries. Must be well presented with good communication and management skills. The role has lots of potential. You must be able to understand P&Ls, part discounts, staff efficiencies, staff management and recruitment, and have a basic HR understanding.
THIS ROLE IS FOR A DYNAMIC EXPERIENCED MANAGER WHO CAN HELP DRIVE THE BUSINESS FORWARD AND IN RETURN BE REWARDED VERY WELL. Sandown Coachworks are currently one of the best performing bodyshop groups in the southeast of England. The role will be working closely with our Operations and senior management team for support.
This is a full-time role working from 7:30am to 5:30pm. You will also be required to join the Saturday morning rota working from 8am to 1pm, no more than 1 Saturday per month.
