Credit Controller / Finance Administrator
Job Description: The Credit Controller / Finance Admin role will be reporting to the Client Services Manager, the Credit Controller is responsible for managing the debts of the business in accordance with the company’s terms and conditions. Additionally, this role provides administrative support to the Finance Sales and Client Services departments within the company.
Company: The company are a leading UK based safe systems of work mechanical, electrical, and water hygiene training course provider, working with many different industry sectors including FM, NHS, Airports, MOD, Universities & Manufacturing.
Role Overview: This role is pivotal in maintaining office operations and supporting senior management. The Office Manager will handle a variety of administrative tasks, manage communication channels, and ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Debt Management:
Managing and collecting debts from the company’s debtors.
Ensuring the timely collection of debt in accordance with agreed terms.
Following up on payments as needed.
Responding to relevant client inquiries.
Agreeing potential repayment plans with the Credit Service Manager.
Checking and posting receipts to the accounting system. Administrative Support:
Provide cover for the Finance Team.
Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required.
Assist the Finance Manager with the processing of core accounts functions. Experience & Skills Required
Excellent business administrative experience and financial management skills.
Excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work accurately with good attention to detail.
Understanding of maintaining confidentiality.
Capability to manage a diverse workload and work in a fast-moving environment, providing accurate and timely information to a high standard.
Great communication skills with a friendly and flexible approach.
Excellent customer relations skills and a professional/courteous telephone manner.
