Temporary Teaching Assistant Role
Charnwood Primary are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and talented teaching assistant, for a full time role, starting as soon as possible.
What will you do?
• Work with individuals and groups of children to deliver learning programmes and encourage interaction in activities led by the teacher.
• Assist with general pastoral care and attend to personal needs as appropriate.
• Supervise children during non-lesson times, accompany on trips, participate in meetings and training
• Feedback on child progress in meeting Individual Education Plan targets
What are we looking for?
• Experience of working with relevant age group within a learning environment
• A good understanding of classroom roles and responsibilities
• Ability to communicate well, with adults and children across the Trust
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people

The salary range for this post is LG Band 3, Points 5 to 6.
