Here is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and specialist Gynae - Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist to develop skills further by undertaking this triage role for patients referred under the Gynaecology Urgent Suspected Pathway.
The role is funded by the cancer alliance for a fixed term of 12 months whereby the service could evolve as required with the support of the faster diagnosis project manager and wider gynaecology and cancer services team.

The role is expected to positively deliver against the waiting times, improving patient experience whilst is a great opportunity to develop your skills and competencies in gynae-oncology nursing management.
The role of the gynae- onc CNS as per standard/ current trust JD's.
Triaging of new referrals coming into the trust for gynae patients with urgent suspected cancer - assessing and clinical placement of these referrals to the appropriate clinics with supporting diagnostic tests.
Reviewing at the whole pathway in collaboration with cancer services project managers and personalised care team to optimise the gynae-oncology patients pathways, from triage at the beginning of the pathway to end of treatment (moving forward interviews etc).
Working as a valued member of the multi-disciplinary team, raising the profile of nursing with the team, developing nurse led services such as this.
