We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable ICT Support Technician to join our dynamic IT team. The ICT Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to staff and users, maintaining IT equipment, and ensuring the efficient operation of all ICT systems within the school.
The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, an understanding of computer hardware and software, and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of technical issues. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality ICT Support.
We know that exceptional IT technicians possess transferable skills and are self-assured and proficient in every facet of their work; however, we also understand that you will require encouragement and challenge to reach your full potential, and we will support you.
Key responsibilities include:
* To assist with the schools helpdesk provision, ensuring timely resolution to requests and problems and provide regular status updates.
* To undertake maintenance of all IT hardware, software and the school’s network.
* To repair and maintain IT equipment to maximise efficiency.
* To set up IT equipment to support the delivery of the curriculum.
The school provides a range of well-being activities, such as circuits, Pilates and facilities including good transport links, free parking, a cycle to work scheme, use of the fitness suite and even massages by a qualified masseuse. The school also runs a number of national and international trips, and we even have our own residential centre in a beautiful part of North Wales which staff also use.
