Job Description
We are seeking a high-impact HR professional for a 12-month fixed-term contract to serve as a trusted partner to the Chief People Officer, ensuring the delivery of strategic initiatives and operational excellence across HR. This role combines project leadership, governance development, and hands-on HR expertise in employee relations, performance management, and talent reviews.
The successful candidate will operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, aligning priorities, overseeing project progress, supporting recruitment, and ensuring continuity across HR workstreams. Responsibilities include establishing governance in areas such as global mobility to make HR functions more scalable, consistent, and proactive.
Responsibilities
Strategic Program & Project Delivery
* Partner with the CPO to lead, coordinate, and track HR strategic initiatives and transformation projects.
* Ensure cross-functional HR projects remain on track and aligned with business goals.
* Manage timelines, project plans, communications, and reporting.
Governance & Operational Structure
* Develop and implement governance frameworks for key HR topics, ensuring compliance and consistency.
* Create controls, documentation, and escalation procedures for employee processes.
* Act as escalation point for complex ER cases, especially within the UK and EU.
* Guide HRBPs and managers on risk mitigation and compliance strategies.
Performance & Talent Process Oversight
* Support continuous improvement of performance management processes.
* Advise managers on goal setting, managing underperformance, and documentation.
* Lead or coordinate the 9-box talent review process.
Functional & Ad Hoc HR Support
* Provide support in recruitment, onboarding, and metrics analysis.
* Assist senior HR leadership with preparations for meetings and organizational reviews.
Qualifications
* Proven HR experience with a focus on project management, strategy, and operations.
* Strong knowledge of performance and talent review cycles, including 9-box methodology.
* Experience in establishing governance frameworks and process consistency in international organizations.
* Highly organized, adaptable, and able to work independently with multiple stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills; experience with senior-level materials.
* CIPD qualification or equivalent preferred.
* Experience in EU HR environments is a plus.
