The duties and responsibilities of the role include, but aren't limited to:
1. Ensuring surgeries are prepared appropriately for patients in accordance with current regulations.
2. Maintaining the standard and cleanliness of the surgery and accommodation, reporting any deficiencies in accordance with local protocols.
3. Managing the hastening, receipt, despatch, and documentation of dental prosthetic appliances, ensuring timely appointments for patients are booked as necessary.
4. Meeting the needs of patients by monitoring, supporting, and reassuring each individual according to their specific needs, providing appropriate advice when required.
5. Recognising and interpreting behaviours, especially those associated with anxious patients, and dealing with them accordingly.
