Liverpool City Council is currently looking for 2 x qualified and Registered Social Workers with experience in a Team Manager and/or QA/Practice Improvement type role within a statutory Children’s Social Care setting.
Applicants need to have a good understanding of what good social work practice looks like and be passionate about systemic and relational based practice models.
There is a requirement to work on-site a minimum of 3 days a week, in order to build trusting relationships with teams, so that quality assurance becomes embedded as part of a positive and supportive culture of improvement.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Coaching and mentoring
2. Producing high-quality reports and action plans
3. Delivering bite-sized learning opportunities and supporting our Care, Inspire, Thrive Children’s Workforce Academy
4. Experience in the Family Safeguarding Model is particularly welcome
