Role Overview
Sentinel Group is seeking a results-driven Sales Executive with extensive experience in the security industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to secure 168-hour manned guarding contracts, build lasting client relationships, and deliver exceptional sales performance in a competitive market.
As we are an 'all-island' company, this role is open to candidates from ROI and NI and territory is national. We are PSA licensed in ROI and hold ACS accreditation in NI.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development:
• Identify, target, and secure new clients requiring 168-hour security service contracts.
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Establish relationships with key decision-makers across industries.
2. Client Relationship Management:
• Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring retention and upselling opportunities.
• Conduct site visits to understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
• Act as a point of contact to address client inquiries and ensure satisfaction.
3. Market and Industry Analysis:
• Monitor trends in the security industry to identify opportunities for growth.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of competitor offerings and pricing strategies.
4. Proposal Preparation and Negotiation:
• Prepare and present compelling proposals and bids tailored to client needs.
• Negotiate contracts, ensuring profitability while aligning with company policies.
5. Collaboration and Reporting:
• Work closely with operations, HR, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for new clients.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, performance updates, and activity reports to senior management.
Key Requirements
1. Experience:
• Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in the security industry.
• Demonstrated track record of securing 168-hour manned guarding contracts or similar high-value deals.
2. Skills and Competencies:
• Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and adapt.
3. Knowledge:
• Comprehensive understanding of the security industry, including manned guarding, compliance, and regulations.
• Awareness of operational and logistical considerations in delivering 168-hour services.
4. Education and Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related field (preferred).
• SIA license or equivalent knowledge of security industry standards (preferred).
5. Other Requirements:
• Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel.
• Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
