Essentia, part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking to recruit a Head of Commercial to play a key role within its Estate Development function.

The Head of Commercial role is a crucial post that will play leading role in the delivery of a world class Estate. The role will take responsibility for ensuring that GSTT get best value from capital investment. The post holder will be required to work with a cross section of stakeholders including Estates colleagues, cost and commercial management consultants and contractor teams to successfully plan and manage commercial, contractual, procurement and supply chain challenges and mitigate risk across major capital projects and a range of complex capital and small works project spanning the entirety of the GSTT estate.
We are seeking an individual with a background in cost and commercial management of capital projects and programmes either in a client side or consultant capacity. You will have experience of cost planning, procurement and supply chain management and a determination to drive best value across the capital programme for the benefit of the NHS.
