The Quantity Surveyor who secures this position will be responsible for monitoring and managing project financials on high-end residential builds, ensuring jobs are completed on budget while looking after the company’s financial interests. The Quantity Surveyor will be based from the office in the Stevenage area, with sites being 1 hour from there.

Salary: £60k -£70k DOE

Quantity Surveyor Job Overview
1. Prepare and manage tender, contract documents, and project budgets.
2. Analyse and control project costs, perform risk management, and address cost variances.
3. Oversee subcontractor relationships, including procurement, accounts, and quality control.
4. Conduct site visits to monitor costs, subcontractor performance, and project quality.
5. Provide financial reports, progress updates, and cost analysis for ongoing and ad hoc projects.
6. Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and housing associations to support project goals and sales targets.
Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements
1. Prior experience working for a Housebuilder or Residential Contractor.
2. Full driving licence.
3. Based within commuting distance of the Stevenage area.
4. Good tenure and seeking a permanent position.
