Description Salary: £14.60 - £15.58 per hour Hours per week: variable hours Interview date: Week commencing Monday 2 February 2025 Registration Services - Where Service Excellence Begins We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Ceremonies Team, where you will be able to put your attention to detail and people skills to good use, creating a day to remember for couples marrying in Wiltshire. If you love the change of scenery and would like to perform ceremonies in different locations with flexible working hours, then this is the role for you. As a Registration Officer (Ceremonies), you will conduct and register marriages and civil partnerships; perform Welcoming (Baby Naming) ceremonies, and Celebration of Marriage ceremonies at any of the ceremony rooms and licensed approved venues throughout the county. We are looking for a candidate who has excellent communication, interviewing and public speaking skills and can relate tactfully and sensitively to our couples and their guests. You will be a team player, with lots of enthusiasm and will be expected, on completion of your training, to maintain high standards of detailed registration practice and customer service. You will need to be available on occasional weekdays, 3 Saturdays out of 4 and some Sundays or Bank Holidays. The work pattern is variable with high demand during the summer months but much less during the winter when we have fewer ceremonies. As a guide, you can expect to earn in the region of £3,000 per annum depending on your availability. The role is based in Salisbury and you must be available for induction starting from Monday 17 th March and the initial training on the 1 st and 2 nd April 2025. Why us?
