We are seeking a strategic, innovative, and inspiring leader to drive our Apprenticeship provision for construction and engineering forward. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a role that directly shapes skills development in the region.
The Role:
1. Lead the development and delivery of high-quality apprenticeship training, ensuring an exceptional experience for apprentices and employers alike.
2. Ensure achievement rates exceed national standards, driving success across all subject areas.
3. Shape and evolve apprenticeship curriculum design to meet employer needs and regional economic demands.
4. Work as part of the College Management Team, contributing to the strategic direction of the College and working with key local and regional stakeholders.
5. Lead and develop a high-performing team of staff, ensuring effective case management, teaching quality, and learner progression.
6. Oversee End Point Assessment arrangements, ensuring high standards and successful completions.
7. Monitor compliance with funding regulations and drive continuous quality improvements within the apprenticeship provision.
8. Collaborate with curriculum leaders to ensure an outstanding apprentice and employer experience.
What We’re Looking For:
1. A passionate and ambitious leader with a track record of delivering high-quality apprenticeships.
2. Knowledge of apprenticeship funding, quality assurance, and industry requirements.
3. A strong background in teaching, learning, and assessment.
4. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
5. Ability to manage resources efficiently, meet deadlines, and drive new business strategies.
6. A commitment to continuous professional development.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
1. Degree or relevant vocational qualification (minimum Level 3).
2. Knowledge of current issues affecting Apprenticeships and Further Education.
3. Awareness of local and national education and training needs.
4. Proven leadership and management experience.
5. You may also hold a recognised teaching qualification.
