Salary: 115,000 - 115,000 GBP per year Requirements:
* We are seeking candidates with the following essential skills:
* Proven experience in data/information architecture or equivalent roles.
* Familiarity with industry-standard system integration and data modeling patterns, and frameworks such as ITIL, DAMA/DMBOK, and TOGAF, along with familiarity with metadata management practices.
* Experience with cloud technologies, including multi-cloud and hybrid architectures.
* Experience working in a multi-region highly regulated industry.
* Experience leading through change in a matrix/hub-and-spoke model without direct line management control.
* Desirable skills include:
* Understanding of the defence landscape.
* Certification in appropriate ITIL, TOGAF, and/or DAMA foundation and specialist knowledge areas (or equivalents).
* Knowledge of working within a product-based delivery model.
* A relevant degree or equivalent experience (e.g., computer science, information systems, or a related study).
Responsibilities:
* In this role as an Enterprise Data Architect, you will:
* Develop, maintain, and communicate the Enterprise Data Architecture Strategy, along with the reference architecture and roadmaps for progression toward the target state.
* Engage with and influence senior stakeholders to drive effective and coherent data-led operations across the company.
* Collaborate across Enterprise Architecture to ensure a coherent strategy and delivery of solutions required to meet the business's strategic and tactical goals.
* Manage the Head Office data architecture team and lead the data architecture community across the company.
* Support data architecture implementation, assurance, and compliance across the organization, collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Hold authority and accountability for actions and decisions related to data architecture, including technical and quality aspects.
* Collaborate with internal and external partners to facilitate effective evaluation of solutions to business needs, working proactively and independently to articulate issues/challenges and support resolution.
