This role is at the heart of a 3 year global programme to transform our end-to-end Property operating model towards an Asset Lifecycle approach. We recognise that change management is a critical element of successful transformation and for realising and sustaining our benefits; so are looking for a Change & Adoption Manager to lead the change management of this programme across the Tesco Group. The programme will result in change to policy, process and product (systems). You will be responsible for Reporting to the Head of Asset Lifecycle, you will be responsible for ensuring Tesco colleagues, are empowered to lead, embrace and sustain changes to ways of working within their teams and with suppliers. You Will Lead Change strategy & change plan for a global operating model change : Design and deliver the end-to-end Change Management strategy and plan in alignment with the Property and broader Change frameworks, to drive behavioural change and embed new business ways of working on policies, processes and products (systems). Change assessments: Undertake Change & Adoption Management assessments that inform the people side of change throughout the life of programmes and projects. Conducting change impact assessments, managing people risks and issues and audience capacity. Assessing the readiness for change of all stakeholders and impacted audiences, advising on activities to embed the change within the business. Stakeholder management: Identify, manage and communicate effectively with a diverse group of partners (e.g., senior leaders, managers, SMEs) throughout the project lifecycle to develop change strategies, assess readiness for change, anticipate and remove blockers, and prepare affective business areas for the transition to new ways of working. Able to show empathy, listen actively and express ideas and facts in a clear and confident manner both verbally and non-verbally. This includes reporting, presentation skills, meeting management and facilitation. Leadership Alignment: Guide leaders and sponsors to establish and maintain the commitment for the change, across the Group. Change communications: Create a persuasive case for change, producing communication and engagement materials and owning communications to stakeholders. Ensure all materials are designed and produced in a timely manner and align to wider messages and are on brand. Change training: Identifying education and training requirements and working closely with relevant teams to develop sustainable solutions. People-focused: Be the ‘go to’ person for expertise on how to deliver and manage the people side of change. Represent the end user throughout and understand their experience as a customer. Assist in the provision of transition support to a sustainable business as usual environment. Continuous improvement: improve ways of working and Change and Adoption practice in Property. You will need Proven experience leading, defining and delivering change and engagement strategies for operating model change (ideally at a global scale across a large organisation) Ability to work autonomously, a self-starter Experience of working in a 'set up' environment and the ability to deal with ambiguity as processes, standards and governance change Proven track record of working and liaising effectively with business users at all levels of seniority and influencing in a matrix structure (including Exec team) Personal, relatable character, able to build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening) Excellent organisation skills (including time management) Excellent influencing skills and ability to take people with them Skills and passion for coaching – teams and individuals Excellent MS Office skills Experience delivering Asset Lifecycle
