Our client, a leading provider of Children & Families Services, is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team. Based on a picturesque Channel Island, this full-time role offers the chance to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment, supporting children at risk of exploitation. Monthly flights home are covered.
Key Responsibilities
Rapid Assessment: Assess contacts and referrals for children aged 0-18, responding to their needs promptly.
Interagency Collaboration: Gather, interpret, and share information to ensure effective safeguarding and risk management.
Home Visits & Calls: Conduct telephone assessments, home visits, and Section 46 (47) inquiries.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and communicate complex cases to various professionals.
Case Support: Occasionally handle a small caseload, supporting the Initial Response Team as needed.

Essential Requirements
Qualifications: Degree in Social Work or equivalent; registered with Social Work England; evidence of CPD.
Experience: At least 3 years post-qualification experience, including multi-agency work and safeguarding expertise.
Competencies: Ability to handle time-sensitive cases, evaluate complex information, and produce accurate written work.
Circumstances: Full valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Working Conditions
Full-Time on Island: This role requires full-time on-island presence with no remote or hybrid working options.
