A Butcher Apprentice will learn how to :-
* Prepare, trim, weigh and price up meat;
* Cut and bone a carcase;
* Package meat and store it correctly;
* They will be discussing different cuts with customers, including how to cook and safely store them;
* Always keeping their working environment safe and storing meat in accordance with health and safety legislation;
* Maintain business records and budgets.
Training level 2 Butchery Level 2 Knife Skills Level 2 H&S in the Food Supply Level 2 Food HygieneOne day per week at Exeter College during term time only.
