Job Description: They are seeking a skilled Residential Conveyancer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity. Key Responsibilities: Handle all aspects of residential conveyancing from instruction to completion. Manage a caseload of freehold and leasehold transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Draft and review contracts, leases, and other legal documents. Conduct title checks and searches, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions. Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on property-related matters. Maintain and update case management systems and client records. Ensure adherence to anti-money laundering regulations and other compliance requirements. Requirements: Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with a minimum of 3 years PQE in residential conveyancing. Thorough knowledge of freehold and leasehold conveyancing processes. Excellent client care, time management, and organisational skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in using case management software and MS Office applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Desirable: Experience with new builds and shared ownership schemes. Familiarity with Help to Buy mortgages and ISAs. Business development skills and a network of professional contacts.
