Responsibilities: Staff Scheduling: Ensure the Front Office night team is appropriately staffed by using business forecasts. Guest Services: Oversee and participate in the prompt and courteous check-in and check-out of guests. Guest Inquiries: Address questions or issues related to guest room accommodations and rates. Security: Maintain effective key control and participate in customer room security matters. Financial Procedures: Monitor advance deposit and credit procedures. Night Audit: Complete the night audit checklist. Guest Feedback: Respond to both positive and negative guest comments and written feedback, developing strategies for improvement. Maintenance Reporting: Report major repair needs to the Property Manager. Daily Reports: Check arrival, events, and VIP lists, informing relevant individuals about returning, VIP, and special guests. Front Office Proficiency: Be proficient in all Front Office procedures, including the Opera booking system, to serve as a resource when needed. Policy Compliance: Monitor Front Office activities regarding discounts, billing instructions, and hotel credit policy compliance. Account Management: Manage Pay Master accounts, ensuring payments are received within terms. Team Leadership: Utilize leadership skills to maximize team productivity and satisfaction. Service Monitoring: Monitor the night team's service and teamwork daily, focusing on improving service delivery efficiency. Operational Improvement: Recommend improvements to guest service and Front Office operations to the Front of House Manager.
