In this position you will…
…be part of a small Finance anchored optimization team, supporting the broader Finance team together with support for all Commercial Finance initiatives. These may include but aren’t limited to support for strategic initiatives such as fund raising (equity and debt), financial aspects of M&A, optimization of group structure including capital.
You will be responsible for…
1. Supporting the Head of Commercial Finance and the Group CFO in driving value in all areas and all opportunities reacting to optimization of capital, cash, liquidity and all value-driven opportunities
2. Adding value across the business through project-based work in collaboration with the senior leadership team and multiple departments
3. Working across a broad portfolio of businesses with different profiles and needs
4. Preparing analyses, recommendations and presentations together with key stakeholders across finance, strategy & investments and operations
5. Ownership of finance driven, strategic and operational tasks and be actively involved in driving growth and scaling the business
6. Learning quickly, develop key relationships, adapt and work hard to regularly deliver high quality output, under pressure
7. Taking a proactive approach to problem solving to drive innovation across the business
8. Supporting competitor analysis, benchmarking for different opportunities and problem solving
9. Performing financial analyses and assisting in valuation exercises
10. Participating in M&A financial due diligence sessions and producing analyses
11. Assisting in the preparation of recurring business reviews and project status reports to management and key stakeholders

You will require the following qualifications and skills:
1. Candidate with 3+ year experience in business, economics, science or similar subject with strong analytical background
2. Some exposure to the insurance industry would be helpful; either underwriting, capital management or a financial analyst covering insurance
3. Prior relevant work experiences / internships in M&A, strategic analysis, structuring, capital optimization or finance in financial services, highly desirable
4. Confident, structured and an incredibly organised individual who can take ownership of tasks and work independently to ensure quality output and timely completion
5. Inquisitive with exceptional analytical skills and a strong desire to learn
6. A hands-on attitude and boundaryless mind-set, embracing the unique work style of a young and rapidly growing company
7. Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders
8. Ability to communicate effectively at the most senior levels of bolttech
9. Experienced with Excel and PowerPoint
10. ACA / CPA / CFA preferred
