HR Manager

Location: Birmingham (hybrid working)
Role Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Manager to lead a HR function, supporting growth and team engagement. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with HR experience who is passionate about creating a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage HR and Office Administration teams, emphasising employee engagement, well-being, and operational efficiencies.
2. Support policy reviews, ensure legal compliance, and develop new HR processes as needed.
3. Partner with managers on capability, conduct, and absence management; conduct interviews; and provide HR guidance.
4. Oversee recruitment, new hire processes, and HR-related onboarding.
5. Design customer-focused training for all levels, maintain records, and assess training effectiveness.
6. Track and report on HR KPIs, supporting improvements to meet company goals.
7. Foster an inclusive environment, support engagement initiatives, and promote a healthy work-life balance.
What You’ll Bring:
1. Strong people leadership skills in a HR capacity.
2. CIPD Level 5 or working towards this qualification.
3. Knowledgeable in UK employment law and compliance.
4. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
5. Experience in a varied HR role ideally in a smaller business.
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)
