Our client is a global supplier of fine food, sourcing the highest quality products and ingredients from around the world. Their range includes delicacies such as Truffles, Caviar, Foie Gras, Chocolate, Charcuterie, and Fresh Vegetables, among many others. Through strong partnerships with their suppliers, they deliver exceptional fresh, frozen, and ambient products to prestigious establishments, including 4- and 5-star hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, national foodservice customers, and premium retailers such as Harrods and Selfridges. Within the UK, they are recognised as a market leader and the go-to supplier in their industry.
Following significant growth within the meat category, they are now seeking a Key Account Manager to further develop this category across London.
Role
As Key Account Manager, you will take direct responsibility for growing the Meat product category across an existing portfolio of high-end foodservice and hospitality customers. This includes 4- and 5-star hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, golf clubs, and premium hospitality venues in the South East of England. Key products in the portfolio include Beef, Veal, Lamb, Pork, Poultry, and Cured Meats.
In addition to nurturing and strengthening existing business relationships, you will focus on identifying and securing new customers, building strong trading partnerships. Reporting directly to the Meat Category Manager and working closely with the wider sales team, you will enjoy a high degree of autonomy in implementing strategic decisions to drive business growth.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated sales professional with a proven track record in business development within the meat industry. You will possess strong technical knowledge of meat products and the ability to showcase the quality of these products to end customers.
Experience in selling to foodservice customers, ideally high-end hospitality clients, in a field-based role is essential. A background in food and beverage products is required, along with a passion for premium-quality foods. Our client is looking for an ambitious individual who can make a significant contribution to driving business development.
Location
This is a home-based, field sales role. The successful candidate will ideally be located in the South East of England.
Benefits
£45,000 to £50,000, £10,000 bonus, Oyster Card, pension, and additional benefits.
