We have an exciting new opportunity to join the Revenue and Benefits team as a Revenues & Benefits Officer on a permanent part-time basis. You will have responsibility for a varied caseload, personally ensuring all cases are dealt with to conclusion in accordance with all relevant statutory regulations, policies and procedures. Although not essential, you will ideally have experience of working in Local Government and have knowledge of Revenues & Benefits Systems and the InformationWork Enterprise document imaging system. The successful candidate will have a strong administrative background with knowledge and expertise of data input to computerised systems, scanning and indexing and the ability to update and maintain accurate records. We would particularly welcome applications from those who have knowledge and experience of administering Housing Benefits and or Council Tax discounts, exemptions and reliefs. This is a varied role which will suit candidates who possess excellent written and oral communication skills who can deal confidently with a wide range of customers. The successful candidate will have the ability to work quickly and accurately with data inputting as well as being highly organised and flexible in their approach to work. You will also have demonstrable experience of using Microsoft products, web based services and email.
