DUTIES
Your duties as the Community Liaison Officer include:
• Act as a primary point of contact for the community, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support where needed
• Develop and maintain relationships with community groups, local councils, schools, and other key stakeholders
• Organise and attend community meetings, forums, and events to represent the organisation and provide updates on ongoing projects and initiatives
• Gather and report community feedback to internal teams to help shape policies and improve services
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement community engagement strategies that promote positive relationships
• Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for community outreach and engagement activities
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience in community engagement, public relations, or a similar role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
