Smart Teachers is recruiting dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to join our pool of staff for daily supply roles across Primary schools in East London.
About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support children in a range of Primary schools in Romford. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in assisting students with both their academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support children in various learning environments, providing one-on-one and group assistance.
2. Foster positive relationships with students, creating a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
3. Help manage classroom behavior, ensuring clear boundaries are maintained while also offering nurturing support.
4. Adapt to different classroom settings and work collaboratively with teachers to meet students' needs.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant East London you will:
1. Have demonstrated experience supporting the UK or similar curriculum during the previous two years.
2. Have strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills.
3. Live in/within commuting distance of East London.
The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
1. 6 weeks experience in a similar education-based setting.
