About the Role As the Business Manager, you will be a pivotal member of the leadership team, working closely with the Headteacher and governors to ensure the efficient and effective running of the school's business functions. Key Responsibilities Finance Management: Oversee the school's budget, financial planning, and reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. HR Management: Manage recruitment processes, contracts, and staff well being initiatives. Premises Management: Oversee the maintenance, health and safety, and development of school facilities. Administration: Ensure the smooth operation of administrative systems and processes. Governance Support: Provide administrative and strategic support to the governing body. About You We are looking for a dynamic and highly organised individual with a passion for education and a proven track record in business or operational management. Essential Criteria: Relevant qualification in business management, finance, or a related field Strong financial management skills with experience in budget planning and monitoring. Knowledge of HR processes and procedures. Experience managing health and safety and premises-related matters. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
