We are delighted to invite applications for Dental Therapists to join our Consultant-led, Special Care Dentistry and Paediatric Dentistry Team at one of our clinics in Somerset (Bridgwater, Taunton, Yeovil).
These are permanent, full-time (37.5 hours) positions, working Monday to Friday 08.30-17.00. Consideration will be given to applicants looking for part-time hours, and we welcome discussions regarding this at interview.
The salary range for this post is £35,392 - £42,618 per annum; the actual annual salary will be dependent on experience.
Main duties of the job
This is a clinical post providing dental care to patients of the Primary Care Dental Service within Somerset. Working as part of a team, you will provide care for our service users, those patients with dental needs outside of general dental practice (GDP) care.
The service provides care for adults and children with Additional Needs and Learning Disabilities, including medically compromised patients who require treatment in a specialised setting. The post will be based at one of our clinics in Somerset, although there may on occasion be a need to travel to and work from any of the sites across Somerset.

* Diploma or Degree in Dental Therapy
* Full GDC registration
Experience
* Experience in carrying out clinical dental treatment within scope of practice
* Experience with anxious patients, those with additional needs, and patients with challenging behaviour
