Job Title: Primary Teacher - SEMH Setting Location:

Job Duties:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students in a Special Educational Needs and Mental Health (SEMH) setting
* Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support as needed
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the individual needs of students with SEMH
* Collaborate with other staff members, parents, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for students
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, particularly in SEMH settings
* Strong understanding of the UK primary education curriculum
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience as a primary teacher in an SEMH setting
Knowledge and Skills:
* Knowledge of effective teaching strategies for students with SEMH
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
* Strong behaviour management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs
* Training in mental health support for children
