Product Photographer
Job Location: Poole, Dorset (nr Fleetsbridge)
Job Type: Initial 6-month contract direct with the company (could go longer)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
Hours: 32 hours per week - Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm

We are recruiting for a Product Photographer to join a leading decorative homeware manufacturer who supply directly to businesses and consumers all around the UK.
This is an initial 6-month contract directly with the company which could be potentially be extended.
Working closely with the Creative Director and Studio Manager, you will be working in the Poole studio and be responsible for delivering high quality lifestyle and technical studio imagery inline with customer brands / aesthetic. Images are used for both websites and print.
The successful candidate will need to be technically sufficient at setting up varied lighting environments, using flash and continuous lighting, in studio equipment maintenance, guideline adherence and photography capture.
You will need to be able to provide a portfolio demonstrating your relevant product photography experience.
Reporting to the Studio Manager and Creative Director, your duties will include;
• Working closely with the retouch and creative teams to ensure that the schedule is agreed and imagery delivered on time
• Helping to drive the direction of our photography and operate calmly under pressure
• Creating high quality digital photography for websites, catalogues and marketing material, in line with style guidelines
• Maintaining consistently high standards, having a critical eye for detail
• Continuously improving the studio’s workflows and processes
• Trouble-shooting photography challenges on set
• Using industry experience and expertise to support the expansion of the photography capabilities
• Maintaining equipment and monitoring and upholding extremely high safety and quality standards
The successful applicant will possess:
• 3 - 5 years’ experience of working in a high volume, creating an array of imagery for online and print
• Creative mindset
• Excellent understanding of photography equipment and software (Adobe Creative Suite and Capture One)
• Proficient in 360 photography
• Good understanding of commercial studio processes (from taking pictures, sending to editors, getting pictures ready for print, working to deadlines)
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Able to work efficiently and calmy to tight production deadlines
• A self-driven mentality, able to easily communicate creative ideas and collaborate in a team environment
• A focus on productivity, practical thinking and the ability to solve problems quickly
