About the role:
The IT Project Manager is responsible for delivering overall project objectives and specific team deliverables, by the planning of project activities and executing assigned tasks/work within the expected quality standards, to ensure the project is a success.
This role can be split between home and on-site. Ideally based in Glasgow or Perth, Scotland.
Here’s what the role looks like:
* Manage a portfolio of projects ranging in size and complexity, ensuring projects are delivered in scope, on time, and within budget.
* Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans. Assemble, plan, and lead technical teams to deliver the project objectives.
* Track project progress and costs, proactively managing any changes via a controlled Change management process.
* Create and maintain project documentation to track actions, risks, and issues.
* Provide project reporting, both internal and external.
* Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
* Risk management and mitigations.
* Facilitation of workshops with a variety of stakeholders.
Requirements
Here are the key skills and experience relevant to this role:
* You’ll be an experienced IT Project Manager with exposure to the delivery of a range of IT projects.
* You’ll work alongside a highly experienced technical delivery team.
* You’ll support clients and colleagues alike through the delivery of complex and technically challenging transformation programmes with a primary focus on networking solutions and systems integration.
* You’ll be given the opportunity to work on projects that will allow you to keep your skillset at the forefront of developments in both technology and PM methodology.
* Knowledge/experience working on large capital projects.
* Knowledge and awareness of Microsoft Products (e.g., PowerBI, Forms) would be beneficial.
