Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated Area Sales Engineer to drive real orders growth in steam thermal solutions in the Southwest & Southern UK territory.This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic individual.
The role will be responsible identifying, driving and delivering sales and profit growth with an end-user portfolio utilising resources to best effect and implementing solution selling. You will be responsible for generating a pipeline of qualified proactively generated projects and focusing on customer account management.
Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…
1. Prepare and execute territory action plans to deliver business growth for the area of your responsibility.
2. Proactively manage and develop customer accounts through targeted sales calls, solution selling, and exemplary service.
3. Identify, qualify and forecast opportunities utilising Lead to Order process and available business tools.
4. Utilise best practice and expertise to develop sound engineering solutions and use Customer Value Propositions to unlock sales potential.
5. Take ownership and manage the opportunity pipeline ensuring and effective accurate forecast is delivered on a weekly and monthly basis.
6. Timely update of customer records and prepare reports that reflect your area of responsibility utilising appropriate analytical approaches and Business Information tools.
7. Ensure effective matrix working in conjunction with External and Internal Support function
