What we are looking for
Key Responsibilities include:
* Lead the Health, Safety and Compliance Culture within Reynolds
* Review / Investigate / Report on all Safety and Compliance incidents
* Work with the training team to provide bespoke new / remedial training content
* Compile all stats relating to Safety & Compliance and report them to both internal and external stakeholders as required.
* Advise the operation in relation to the carriage of dangerous goods.
* Drive continuous improvement within the Safety & Compliance space.
* Maintain all records associated with;
* Risk Assessment
* Incidents / statutory reporting / claims
* Compliance / audits
* Create / Initiate safety sprints & campaigns to drive improvement
Skills and Requirements
* IOSH/ NEBOSH / CMIOSH Qualified
* Transport / Logistics (preferably Fuel / Gas) experience
* MCPC – International
* DGSA Qualification
* Incident investigation / route cause analyses experience
* High impact presentation & communication skills
* In depth knowledge of drivers hours rules
* Ability to review / write / deliver bespoke training material
* Experience of SAFED techniques
* Ability to audit for compliance (O licence / accreditation)
* Working knowledge of “Earned Recognition” (ERS)
* Ability to work both strategically and hands on
* Strong written, numeric and IT skills
* Knowledge of Safety reporting systems
* Robust auditing skills
Other Skills:
* Inspect / risk assess / document delivery points
* Carry out route risk assessment
* Support O Licence application process
* Support internal teams as a subject matter expert
* Review and update Safety Plans for UK & wider group
* Complete bespoke projects linked to role
