Job summary Here at Alder Hey Outpatients, we are looking for experienced health care assistants, to join our friendly team. Applicants must be keen to expand their skills and willing to undertake paediatric phlebotomy. Applicants will be given full training and mentoring. Experience of working with children or in an Outpatient setting is desirable. We work as a large multi-disciplinary team to deliver outstanding care to our patients in Outpatients therefore experience of working collaboratively in a team within a healthcare environment is essential for this post. For many of our patients, Outpatients is the first impression of our hospital and therefore excellent communication skills are required for this position to ensure patients and their families / carer's are welcomed and reassured. Main duties of the job The Healthcare Assistant is an integral member of the clinical team.
