This newly created Financial Controller will form a key part of the Finance team for a rapidly growing Asset Management firm paying £100,000 to £120,000 depending on experience with a Discretionary bonus. Currently operating on 3 days a week based in the City of London Role This Financial Controller Role will help the Firm scale the finance function, put new processes in place and refine existing ones. This role will work closely with the Finance Director put in providing support for a growing team. Please find a brief outline of the role below. Responsible for accurate and timely preparing and reporting individual and consolidated financial statements. Managing financial budgets & forecasts. Working with treasury, tax and FP&A teams as well as with the business various budget holders to support with budgeting and forecast Ensuring cost control across the business. Ensuring compliance with IFRS, as well as oversight of Luxembourg GAAP and other local GAAP as required. Working with the Director of Technical Accounting to ensure the annual audit and financial statements are executed on time and in compliance with all regulations. Preparing and timely reporting management accounts, including profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flow. Creating regular reports including monthly and annually to identify results, trends and financial forecasts. Maintain and develop current PBI reports. Responsible for accounting for treasury transactions, including FX hedging.
