Role & Responsibilities The AV Technician oversees the technical aspect of the Entertainment Programme. • Mixing and operating audio or lighting and Qlab for in house productions, bands, DJs and acts around the resort. • Develop a confident understanding of H&S processes and procedures and ensure all technical areas are in full compliance with resort H&S regulation. • Supporting and directly working with the Entertainment Manager and other resort management. • Maintain and carry out checks and maintenance on technical equipment and support with maintaining venues. • Assisting the rest of the team with get ins, set ups, and get outs. • Provide technical support to other resort teams as and when required. • Attending additional rehearsals and soundchecks where required and as directed by management. • Adapting the entertainment due to reasons including but not limited to, poor weather, or illness. You could be the perfect person for this role if you • Have a technical skillset and up-to-date knowledge of AV technical and production. • Would like to work and live abroad for a contract. • Enjoy building relationships with team and guests. • Have a keen eye for detail. • Are open to flexible working patterns. • Are naturally well organised. • Can work well under pressure. • Are proactive with a problem-solving attitude. • Can operate Digital Sound Desks. • Can operate Lighting Consoles. • Have experience in QLab, creating cue lists, programming, and operating. Salary & Benefits £400 Per Week You will be provided with a flight to destination and transfer to resort, 2/3 x meals per day and accommodation on a single occupancy basis.
