Our Nottingham office is seeking a talented Senior Project Manager / Employers Agent to join our team and work on exciting leisure projects for a prominent industry leader. Role Overview As a Senior Project Manager / Employers Agent, you will lead the delivery of high-profile leisure projects from inception to completion. You’ll work closely with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure that objectives are met on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. A background in Quantity Surveying is desirable but not essential. This is a hybrid role, with core office days being Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee all stages of project delivery, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Act as an Employers Agent, representing the client’s interests and ensuring project goals are achieved. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration among stakeholders. Prepare and manage project documentation, including contracts, cost plans, schedules, and risk assessments. Monitor project budgets, timelines, and performance, implementing corrective actions when necessary. Provide expert advice during pre-construction, design, and procurement phases. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. Foster strong client relationships and contribute to business development opportunities. About You Proven experience as a Project Manager or Employers Agent, ideally with exposure to leisure or similar sectors. A Quantity Surveying background is desirable but not crucial. Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT/NEC) and procurement processes. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Commercially astute with the ability to drive value for clients. Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a commitment to delivering quality outcomes. Qualifications Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Ideally chartered or actively working towards MRICS (or equivalent professional qualification).
