Offering a salary of up to £60,000 depending on experience, plus either a company car or car allowance and great company benefits.
Due to company development, we are looking for a tenacious, robust and detail orientated PMO Manager, to join our team. This is a brand new role within Mears, so having experience and time in role as a PMO Manager is essential. Someone who has previously established a PMO function would be ideal.
The successful PMO Manager will be responsible for the governance strategy and delivery assurance for the project and change portfolio across the Mears Group. The role will have primary responsibility for ensuring the Groups’ approach to change is managed in a controlled way.
About the Role:
The PMO Manager will lead on the development and maintenance of the Group’s change roadmap to ensure accurate reporting of the portfolio of work. You will be responsible for working with the IT and Business Transformation Teams to report on project and business planning activities, identifying and taking action on risks.
As a PMO Manager, you must be able to support and motivate your colleagues in managing projects, identifying and taking forward coaching and development needs for everyone, ensuring that best practice is at the forefront of all that we do.
The successful PMO Manager must be a self-starter and have the ability and knowledge to take the foundations of what has been created and establish it into a successful business function.
Role Criteria:
* Time Experience as a PMO Manager
* P30 PMO Qualification
* Must have used and be familiar with portfolio management systems
* Ability to quickly absorb and understand complex written information and summarise it concisely
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* The ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
* The ability to present arguments in a fluid and persuasive manner and to participate effectively in meetings
* The ability to work individually or as part of a team
* The ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy whilst working on a number of different priorities simultaneously
* The ability to escalate issues appropriately
* The ability to prioritise workloads effectively in order to meet objectives and deadlines
* Hold a full clean driving license
