The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised Event, Corporate and Retail Sales Manager to join our team. This key role will focus on generating and executing sales strategies for both events, driving growth and increasing visibility for our brand in the market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event sale and a passion for building relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement event sales strategies to meet annual revenue targets.
2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities for events, such as corporate gatherings, private tastings, festivals, and promotional events.
3. Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling event proposals and presentations that attract and engage potential clients.
4. Manage all aspects of event sales, including lead generation, client meetings, contract negotiations, and post-event follow-up.
5. Collaborate with event planners to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
6. Build and maintain a network of event venues, partners, and suppliers to ensure the success of events.
Client and Customer Relationship Management:
1. Build long-lasting relationships with event, tourism and cask sales clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
2. Act as the main point of contact for all client inquiries, offering personalized service and addressing client concerns or requests.
3. Organize and attend events, tastings, and private cask selections to engage with high-value clients and potential leads.
4. Provide tailored follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage ongoing business.
Sales Reporting and Analysis
1. Regularly report on sales progress, event outcomes, and client engagement to senior management.
2. Use CRM software to track leads, sales activity, and customer interactions, ensuring accurate records and insights.
3. Analyse sales data to identify trends and recommend adjustments to sales strategies for both events and cask sales.
4. Work closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, customer service) to ensure smooth operations and successful client experiences.
5. Participate in cross-departmental meetings to share sales insights, contribute to product development, and assist in overall brand strategy.
