The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide one-to-one and group support for children with various additional needs including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social/emotional challenges.
Work closely with the class teacher and other professionals to implement personalised learning strategies.
Help maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive classroom environment.
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour in all students.
Contribute to the overall well-being and academic progress of the children in your care.
About You
To thrive as a Teaching Assistant, you should:
Have previous experience working with children, ideally in a school or SEN setting.
Be empathetic, patient, and flexible in your approach to supporting diverse learners.
Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
Hold a valid Enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one through Reeson Education.
