This role is all about attracting and attaining new business through sales development, relationship building, engagement activities and great customer experience. With DHL Global Forwarding, one of the world's top freight forwarders with competitive bespoke solutions, you'll be well-equipped to secure sales success.
Focusing on sales of DHL Global Forwarding’s Air Freight services, you’ll be identifying new markets and potential customers, networking, and cold calling. With a consultative sales approach, you’ll be attending meetings to gain an understanding of your customers’ needs, making recommendations, preparing proposals, conducting contract negotiations, and closing new deals.
Managing your own schedule, whilst a field-based role, you’ll have the flexibility to work from home, at our branches across your region, and from customers’ offices.
37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday
Covering the North of England
What we are looking for
Your passion and confidence in driving business growth, getting results, and your proven sales achievement within a freight forwarding environment is crucial for this position. You’ll also have a strong network and contacts, and up-to-date knowledge of markets and industries across your region with potential freight forwarding needs.
Travel across your region is involved; therefore, a full UK drivers’ licence is required.
