Are you a social media expert with a passion for content creation, fashion, and retail? Do you thrive in a fast-paced digital landscape, creating engaging content and driving brand growth? If so, we want to hear from you!
At Garden State London, we specialise in marketing retail and destinations. We work with some of the most exciting retail destinations and brands in the UK, including King’s Cross, Coal Drops Yard, and Brent Cross Town, as well as hospitality clients like Tribe Hotels and Jolene Restaurants. Through bespoke digital strategies, innovative storytelling, and engaging content creation, we help brands grow their presence both online and offline.
We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Manager to join our dynamic team on a 12-month PAYE contract. If you’re a creative storyteller, skilled at capturing compelling video content, and have a strong grasp of social media strategy, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

This role involves working with one of our key clients, Coal Drops Yard alongside other smaller retail accounts. You’ll support the Social & Content Lead for King’s Cross and partner with the Social & Content Manager for King’s Cross alongside our Videographers to execute a compelling social strategy for Coal Drops Yard.
Your primary focus will be to create engaging, innovative content—particularly around fashion, homewares, and food & beverage—to drive social reach, reel plays, and engagement while maintaining the brand’s positioning.

1. Content Creation & Management
1. Plan, schedule, and manage social media calendars across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
2. Produce and edit high-quality video and photo content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube—alongside external videographers and the King’s Cross social team.
3. Design visual content using Canva and other tools.
4. Develop and manage content for the Author account (8 posts/month and 1 story set/week).
2. Influencer & Community Engagement
1. Manage influencer relationships and campaigns for client accounts.
2. Act as a community manager, responding to DMs, comments, and queries across platforms.
3. Assist in creating monthly performance reports.
4. Support the Social Lead in crafting innovative content strategies.
5. Ensure the cultural calendar is up-to-date and research local activities for relevant stories and posts.
6. Work closely with the King’s Cross social media manager to produce engaging content.
7. Liaise with retail, food, and drink tenants for filming requests.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and social media innovations.
9. Use insights and data to refine social content.
3. On-Site Content Creation
1. Be available on-site in London as needed for content creation and events.
