This FIFO role involves operating Posi-Track machinery, general mobile plant, as well as supervising and coordinating a team on site. Our client operates large scale earthworks sites in remote locations in Oceania, and is looking for a leading hand keen to take on a team in this challenging environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient and safe operations, managing a team, and assisting with project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:
* Operate Posi-Track machinery to complete earthmoving, land clearing, grading, and other tasks
* Lead and supervise a team
* Assist in planning daily tasks, delegating work, and ensuring project deadlines are met
* Monitor site safety and ensure all team members comply with workplace health and safety regulations
* Liaise with site supervisors, contractors, and management to coordinate day to day operations
* Train and mentor new operators and labourers as needed
* Report any mechanical issues, hazards, or incidents to management
Requirements:
* 5+ years on site experience
* Ability to read site plans and execute tasks efficiently
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Sea legs! (Significant sea travel to the worksite involved)
* 2 x industry references
