We are seeking a qualified and dedicated QTS 1-1 Secondary Tutor to provide individual academic support to secondary school students across Watford. Job Responsibilities:
As a QTS 1-1 Secondary Tutor, you will be responsible for offering personalised academic support to secondary school students, ensuring their learning needs are met in core subjects. Your role will involve:
Providing tailored 1-1 tutoring in core subjects (such as Maths, English, and Science), adapting your approach to suit each student's abilities and learning style.
Assessing individual strengths and areas for improvement, and developing customised lesson plans to address specific academic challenges.
Supporting students with exam preparation and homework, equipping them with the knowledge and strategies to excel in assessments and tests.
Tracking and monitoring progress, giving constructive feedback to students and their parents/guardians on both successes and areas that may need additional focus.
Creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment, helping students build confidence and motivation to learn.
Adapting your teaching methods for students with additional needs (if applicable), ensuring all students can engage fully with the material.
Regularly communicating with parents/guardians, keeping them updated on their child's progress and offering guidance for continued improvement.

Essential Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
