Reporting to: HR Manager Europe West
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time HR Administrator to join our team and provide vital support in various HR functions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in HR administration. As an HR Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth HR processes, and maintaining accurate employee records.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the recruitment process, including posting job ads, reviewing CVs, scheduling interviews, and liaising with candidates.
* Administer employee onboarding and offboarding procedures.
* Maintain and update employee records on HR databases (both digital and paper).
* Assist in preparing HR documents, such as contracts, offer letters, and performance appraisals.
* Handle HR-related inquiries and provide support to employees regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.
* Assist in payroll preparation by collecting and verifying information and liaise closely with the internal payroll contacts.
* Work closely with the local business controllers on any UK items such as P11D, reporting, payroll queries etc.
* Ensure accurate reporting of headcount and sickness days on the Epiroc Global systems.
* Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive employee and company information.
* Help with employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
* Any other ad hoc or required tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to align with the company’s core value of collaboration.
* Experience as an HR administrator.
* Good knowledge of the labour law.
* Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Excellent interpersonal skills, high level of accuracy, and attention to detail.
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday – 20 hours per week.
* Office based – 5 days a week with flexible working hours.
