Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to work within a mainstream primary school in year 1 classroom for a school in Miles Platting. The school aims to offer a step-by-step approach in meeting the needs of their pupils. The successful educator will be working in a full-time role (8:30am-3:30pm) and is required to start in school from January. The successful applicant will: Be working 1:1 with a child with SEMH. Implementing tailored interventions and strategies to support their social, emotional, and mental well-being, in collaboration with the SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and teaching staff. Assisting in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans, monitoring progress and adjusting strategies as required. Working closely with teaching staff, external agencies, and parents/carers to ensure holistic support and continuity of care for students with SEMH needs.
