Our Client
We are working with a listed business in the betting and gambling sector. Following some internal changes, they are looking to recruit an Interim Head of Reporting (Commercial) to support during a transition period within the UK&I team.
Responsibilities
1. Work with the incumbent to gather as much information as possible about the current reporting processes.
2. Identify ways in which processes can be improved - looking at current processes and identifying ways they can be streamlined.
3. Weekly and monthly reporting.
4. Able to extract useful information from sources to enhance reporting.
5. Support the design and preparation of budget model, providing key inputs and trends during the planning cycle.
6. Able to analyse and provide commentary to support performance.
7. Work with stakeholders at varying levels - remaining detail-oriented but also understanding how to communicate the bigger picture.
8. Management of 4 direct reports.
9. Working with large datasets.
The Successful Candidate
1. Worked in an FP&A/commercial reporting role for a large scale (£2bn P&L) and complex business.
2. Strong attention to detail.
3. Confidence when dealing with stakeholders.
4. Able to translate complex financial data into concepts.
5. Experience driving positive change in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
6. Team management experience.
What's On Offer
For the successful candidate, there is a daily rate of circa £600 per day, inside IR35 (via umbrella). This is initially a 3-month contract to support with a handover period between someone leaving and a new person joining. This role is hybrid, with 2 days per week in their London office. This role requires someone who can commit to Monday - Thursday travel to Gibraltar once per month (fully expensed).
