Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will independently perform and interpret a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including general, gynaecological, and musculoskeletal (MSK) scans. You will produce detailed reports, offering differential diagnoses and guidance on patient management. Additionally, you will provide second opinions to junior staff, participate in continuous professional development, and contribute to audit and research projects. Your role will also involve promoting and delivering high-quality ultrasound training to students, sonographers, radiographers, midwives, and registrars, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment. Qualifications and Experience: • DCR or BSc in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent. • PGDip in Medical Ultrasound or DMU equivalent. • Significant experience in general, gynaecological, and MSK ultrasound scans. • Strong understanding of ultrasound techniques. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. • Commitment to continuous professional development.
